Habitat

A habitat is a place where plants and animal live. Habitats provide a place where animals and plants can find food, shelter and reproduce. One example of a habitat is a pond. The pond provides shelter, food and a place to reproduce for fish, frogs and other pond dwellers. Another example of a habitat is a tree. Insects living in trees provide food for small animals and birds. They also provide shelter and a place for reproduction.
